KREKPEK Berlin Underground Blog

Check out my friend Benne's (aka Moa Neunundvierzig) blog. As mine, it ain't very specific when it comes to content. Mostly HipHop (the kind of HipHop we like.. ), Style, Design (Benne is a sick designer, but I will cover that in a different post about MOA49) and some Skateboarding... also lots of updates on all the gems made by Benne you can buy to get some extra style points out there..like this wooden chain (you might have to go to oddsupply.com to buy one but I am sure the link is also on krekpek:

Summary/Overview "Copyright in the 21st century"

All the buzz about SOPA/PIPA/ACTA and Megaupload has brought the topic copyright on the screens of many people, who probably haven't been aware of that issue before. On Neunetz.com (which happens to be a good blog for all things internet) you can now find a profound summary about copyright and filesharing in the 21st century.

Marcel Weiss, the author of neunetz.com, is writing about copyright issues since 2007, and you can be sure that he knows what's up. The summary is great for everybody who's just beginnnig to show interest in this topic. Unfortunately, it is written in German, although I think there's a large audience of non-German people and artists (especially in the music-scene in Berlin) which could be interested in those informations too, as they have to deal with it when releasing music over here.
Therefor, I might translate the most important parts step by step, and publish them on this blog. Let me know If you are one of those readers, it might speed up the progress.

Until then, here's the link to the Summary on Neunetz.com!

Get illuminated - Robert Anton Wilson Week on BoingBoing

What a nice feature on BoingBoing: It's Robert Anton Wilson Week. For those who don't know: he's the one responsible for the mindfucking Illuminatus! trilogy. That's the real Illuminatus! book, not that crap by ... ! As most of you can probably figure out themselves, people who write such crazy, beautiful books, are very likely to have interesting stories and happen to know interesting people. Read more about him here on his Wiki-Page and find out about his relationship to the LSD-Pope Timothy Leary or his writings for the Playboy mag.
